Company Information and History

Asia Gaming (also known as AG) are a relatively new live casino provider, welcoming players since 2012. They’re part of Inplay Matrix – a leading Chinese gambling operator, behind other popular brands like Gold Deluxe and SA Gaming.

Asia Gaming currently hold a gambling license from the Government of Curacao – and alongside their live casino, they also provide slot machines and various casino games. They’re also partnered with leading iGaming companies like XIN Gaming, Playtech and Microgaming, expanding their market reach.

When we were writing this Asia Gaming live casino review, we wanted to make sure their games were actually licensed and regulated – and we were happy to see their entire live casino platform is certified by Gaming Laboratory International (GLI) – a leading testing house in the online gambling world.

While Asia Gaming focus mainly on Asian players, they have begun to appear at a number of European sites. Whether they’ll successfully penetrate the UK markets remains to be seen.

Asia Gaming Live Casino Review: The Games

Asia Gaming offer a great selection of live dealer games. They’re all streamed from their state-of-the-art live gaming facility in Manila. While writing this Asia Gaming live casino review, our reviewers decided to try all of the games – and you can read about them below.

Asia Gaming’s Live Roulette

Asia Gaming’s live Roulette is of the European variety. This means there’s a single zero on the wheel. The game uses two different camera angles – letting you see the ball as it spins around the wheel. There’s also some detailed game history available which lets you view the results of past rounds.

Asia Gaming’s Live Sic Bo

Sic Bo (also known as Big/Small) is a simple dice-based game where players bet on the outcome of three dice. Asia Gaming’s live Sic Bo offers up to 50 different betting options. Like all of their games, detailed game history is available, and the camera zooms in when the dice are being rolled too, allowing you to see the result close up.

Asia Gaming’s Live Bull Bull

Bull Bull (also known as Bullfight) is a popular Chinese card game. While it’s not particularly common to see at online casinos, Asia Gaming offer it – and the game’s really simple to play and easy to learn. It’s based around poker (Texas Hold’em), and there are a number of different betting options available. The cards are dealt using an automatic card machine and new rounds start every couple of minutes.

Asia Gaming’s Live European Blackjack

When writing this Asia Gaming live casino review, we were surprised to notice they offer European Blackjack. This is pretty unusual to see from an Asian-based developer. Their European Blackjack game is played using 6 decks, and these are shuffled (and dealt) manually. Up to 7 players can be seated at the table. There is, however, a “Bet Behind” option which means an unlimited number of players can play at once. You will also see a Perfect Pairs and 21+3 side bet option available too.

Asia Gaming’s Live Baccarat

Asia Gaming offer five different variations of Baccarat. They all follow basic Baccarat rules, and an unlimited number of players can play at once. Below, you can read about the different game variations:

  • Interactive Bid Baccarat: Asia Gaming were the first game developer to create Interactive Bid Baccarat – a format which has since been used by other live casino providers. In this variation of the game, players have the opportunity to bid to squeeze the cards.
  • 25-Seconds Baccarat: 25-Seconds Baccarat follows all of Baccarat’s regular rules. The only difference in this variation of the game is that a new game rounds begins every 25 seconds.
  • Baccarat Insurance: Asia Gaming’s Baccarat Insurance is identical to regular Baccarat – with players given the option to take Insurance. This isn’t mandatory.
  • Dragon Bonus Baccarat: In this variation of Baccarat, players can place an additional side bet on the “Dragon Bonus”. If the Baccarat hand (Player or Banker) is a natural, with a higher point count than the opposite hand, or, if the point count total of the winning hand exceeds the opposing hand by 4 points or more, this bet pays out.

Streaming Quality

While a leading name in the Asian market, Asia Gaming still has quite a bit of work to do when it comes to the actual quality of their streams. We tried all of their games in demo mode while writing this Asia Gaming live casino review – and while they ran OK… we did experience lagging from time to time.

It appears as though their games are best to play when traffic numbers are at their lowest. Clearly, this is a disadvantage – and the fact that many of their competitors are able to offer constant high-quality streaming technology doesn’t bode particularly well for the company. Still, when their games were running well it’s hard to fault them – they just have a lot of work to do in maintaining the quality of their streams.

Playing Interface and Betting Options

It’s fair to say there’s a lot going on in Asia Gaming’s live dealer games. Like most Asian-based providers, the tables look cluttered and are quite dated in terms of appearance. When writing this Asia Gaming live casino review, we spent a fair amount of time on each of their games – and this cluttered look is consistent in all their games.

To access the games, you’ll need to go through one of the various lobbies. Currently, Asia Gaming offer a choice of AGIN, AGQ, AG Euro and VJ Hall. Different games are found in each of the lobbies, and the dealers are different as well. (AG Euro is Asia Gaming’s first offering to European players.)

From the lobby, you can view information about the games themselves, including details of the betting limits, the dealer, and some recent game history.

One thing which we can praise Asia Gaming for is their wide variety of stake sizes. You’ll be able to find tables with limits as low as 5 credits, and as high as 35,000 – and this means players on all budgets can enjoy the games. Chip denominations start from 0.10, and go as high as 10,000.

Languages Offered

Asia Gaming employes English and Chinese speaking dealers. The user interface is also only available in these two languages. While it’s pretty rare to see providers only offering two languages, it’s worth noting Asia Gaming’s target market is Chinese players – this goes some way to explain why they are yet to offer any different languages.

Asia Gaming Live Mobile Casino Review

When we were writing this Asia Gaming live casino review, we wanted to see how their games performed across different types of devices. We’re happy to report that the majority of their live games can be played from mobile devices. This is made possible due to the fact that their games are built using HTML5 technology. At the time of writing, their gaems support iOS, Android, Blackberry and Windows mobile devices.

You’ll also be offered the chance of playing in either landscape or portrait mode. Some of the games don’t offer a live video feed automatically on mobile devices, but this can be turned on. Likewise, some of the roadmaps and statistics are hidden by default – but these can be toggled on if you wish.

Asia Gaming’s live dealer games are mobile-optimized, that’s for sure. Still, there are more user-friendly mobile optimized games out there – Evolution Gaming are a good example.

Asia Gaming’s Live Dealers

Asia Gaming state that they employ “around 70 attractive live dealers”. All of their dealers are young, attractive women, and they’re dressed in relatively revealing outfits. For the most part, their dealers are friendly, talkative – and if anything, they’re over enthusiastic. They can often be seen clapping and jumping up in joy when winning hands are dealt… you get the idea. It’s pretty in your face, but it makes for a nice change.

Asia Gaming Live Casino Review: Our Thoughts

Asia Gaming have built a solid live casino product and it’s no surprise to see it so popular in the Asian iGaming market. Their comprehensive range of games is well catered to Asian players, and you’ll find titles like Bull Bull and Win Three Cards – games not usually found in online live casinos.

There are also a number of different Baccarat tables, many of which offer unique side bet options. In fact, Baccarat was the game we spent the longest on while writing this Asia Gaming live casino review.

Historically, Asia Gaming haven’t been particularly appealing to European players. This was due to their lack of Western games like Roulette and Blackjack. Thankfully, the provider now offer both of these games, and it may be a sign that they’re looking to enter European markets in the near future.

Overall, Asia Gaming’s live dealer games are pretty good, and aside from the occasional buffering, we didn’t have any major issues while playing. If you’d like to give their games a go for yourself, you’ll find their software used at all of the online casinos listed below.
